April is Minority Health Month. Susan G. Komen Northeast Ohio recognizes Minority Health Month as a 30-day, high visibility, health promotion and disease campaign. Health disparities are health differences we see in some groups that may be related to: race/ethnicity, socioeconomic status, age, geographic location or other characteristics historically linked to discrimination. Breast cancer is one of many health concerns that disproportionately affect certain populations.
Join us on Tuesday, April 16th at noon for a one-hour webinar to address breast health disparities. Hosted by Komen Northeast Ohio. To register, click here, or click here to learn more.
Please contact Patricia Terstenyak at pterstenyak@komenneohio.org or 216.292.2873, x 117 with any questions.
