How to Apply for Funding

Thank you for your interest in the Komen Affiliate grants program.

The majority of the net proceeds raised by the Northeast Ohio Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® each year stays in Northeast. The funds raised are granted out to local organizations that provide breast health education, screening and treatment support programs targeted to communities and populations most in-need of services. The remaining 25% of the net proceeds support the Komen National Research and Scientific Grants Program.

Komen Northeast Ohio funds innovative projects focused on addressing one of the priorities as identified in the Komen Northeast Ohio Community Profile.  The programs provide breast health/breast cancer education, outreach, screening and diagnosis, and survivorship support services not otherwise available to medically underserved populations in Northeast Ohio including the following counties: Ashland, Ashtabula, Belmont, Carroll, Columbiana, Coshocton, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Harrison, Holmes, Jefferson, Lake, Lorain, Mahoning, Medina, Portage, Richland, Stark, Summit, Trumbull, Tuscarawas and Wayne Counties.

Grants are available for up to one (1) year.

The 2013-2014 Request for Applications period has closed. The 2014-2015 Request for Applications will be available on August 1, 2013.
