How to Apply for Funding

Thank you for your interest in the Komen Affiliate grants program.

The 2013-2014 Request for Applications will be released in early Fall, 2012.  Please contact Gina Chicotel at gchicotel@komenneohio.org or 216.292.CURE (2873) for more information.

Up to 75% of the net proceeds raised through the Northeast Ohio Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® each year stays in Northeast Ohio through grants made to local organizations that provide breast health education, screening and treatment programs. The remaining 25% of the net proceeds support the Komen Research and Awards Program.

Komen Northeast Ohio funds innovative projects in the areas of breast health and/or breast cancer education, outreach, screening and diagnosis, and survivorship support targeting services not otherwise available to the medically underserved populations of Northeast Ohio including the following counties: Ashland, Ashtabula, Belmont, Carroll, Columbiana, Coshocton, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Harrison, Holmes, Jefferson, Lake, Lorain, Mahoning, Medina, Portage, Richland, Stark, Summit, Trumbull, Tuscarawas and Wayne Counties. Grants are available for up to one (1) year.
